2015 (ongoing)

Is an email collaboration with Norwegian artist Anja Ulset, based in Bergen. We met while on a residency, and found close similarities in how we approach making art.

We also had the same eye/habit for noticing and photographing humorous, absurd arrangements of banal objects, in mundane places. With a growing bank of images each, we valued collaboration over being in competition, and began with one of us sending an image by email.The other artist responded to it with an image that held a visual characteristic with the image before it. This collaboration has no deadline, or time restriction in responding to each other.

Connections is an ongoing body of work utilising everyday communication technology like the internet, emails, and smartphones.
