time?
2020

The works presented explores speculative theories of time that proposes different ways that reality might actually be like and that may be hidden from us, ideas expressed which do not cohere, creating an instability that embraces complexity, gaps, darkness.

The exhibition draws on Scientific theories including: Entropy and the arrow of time, the forward direction of time is governed by the movement of order to disorder. Without these changes, we’d have no way of telling one instant from the next. The Universe would be a still photo for all of eternity. Scientific determinism, since every event in nature has a cause or causes that account for its occurrence, and since human beings exist in nature, human acts and choices are as determined as anything else in the world. The end of time, physics suggests there are several options for the universal apocalypse such as the Big Freeze, the Big Crunch, the Big Change and the Big Rip. Parallel universes, parallel universes exist exactly like our universe, these universes are all related to ours; indeed, they branch off from ours, and our universe is branched off of others. The Topology of Time, represented by a single, straight, non-branching, continuous line that extends without end in each of its two directions into infinity.
